TEC WGs Weekly Update: May 9 - 16

Hello :wave:! These are the Working Group (WG) Weekly Updates for the week of May 9 - 16. Within this post you’ll find what’s been happening lately in and around our many calendar calls.   • Get ready for the 3rd Graviton! It will be starting on the 24th of May!
    • We have uploaded the study plan. You will be able to register on this same post.
    • There will be 10 sessions, held on Tuesdays 2:00 pm EST - 8:00 pm CET.
  • On Wednesdays, we have our WG’s coordination call at 5 pm CEST.
  • Our weekly book club is currently reading Margaret Wheatley’s Who Do We Choose To Be? We meet every Thursday at 3 PM EST / 9 PM CEST, right after the community call.
  • Every Friday, at 17:00 CEST, we have a Psychology and Mental Health Research sync.
  • If you’re in need of help managing a conflict, you can make a request through our typeform.
  • Last Friday we held an AMA session at Aragon’s discord about conflict management.

  • Praise Practice: Type your praise. Transcription of praise hasn’t been as succesful as we’d wanted it to be so we recommend you all to start typing your praise. Let’s get better quantified, and rewarded!
  • We have been reassessing our Mission Alignment.
  • Boundaries: How can we better understand them and apply them to the organization?
  • Our weekly sync is on Wednesdays at 1pm EST/ 7pm CET.
  • Bends has done an amazing work collecting the data sources for our Ecosystem Health Metrics study.
  • The Sampo WG has had its kicking off meeting! Its up and running!

  • This week we continued work on our Dynamic Energy Budget initiative, concerning how and where we are spending energy: here’s the exercise.
  • We also did some behavioural modeling around observable variables such as on-chain behavior, sync meetings, async chat behavior: here’s what we compiled.
  • We discussed the concept of collective curation and how can we use concepts of open source, decentralization, and smart contracts to enable for co-creation, meaningful novelty, growing connections and experimenting ways to design, build and fund emerging fields of energy. Here’s a document for you to read and comment on our findings.

  • The Proposal Inverter DAO2DAO Models Workshop happens on Wednesdays 9:00 PST / 18:00 CEST. If you missed it, here’s a link to a presentation given in 0mega about the Proposal Inverter.
  • TEC Token Engineering Fellowship: We are having talks about having someone with a technical background to work on the TEC token.
  • Below are our office Hours:
    • From Longtail Financial: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 22:00 CEST / 12:00 PST on the LTF Discord server.
    • From BlockScience: Thursdays at 9:00 PST via Zoom call (ask @Mount Manu on Discord for the link).
