Hello ! These are the Working Group (WG) Weekly Updates for the week of May 9 - 16. Within this post you’ll find what’s been happening lately in and around our many calendar calls. Stewards
- We finished Sprint 34 (Apr 29 - May 12) and started Sprint 35 (May 13 - 26): here’s the link to our current Sprint board.

Currently we have 3 open (funding) votes on our Gardens:
- cadCAD Community Funding (requesting 54,000 WXDAI).
- Retroactive Funding for TEC at ETH Denver 2022 (requesting 965.16 WXDAI).
- Comms T.E.A.M. DAO - Animation & Video Production T.E.A.M. (requesting 24,820 WXDAI).

We also have 1 open TAO vote on our Gardens:
- Vote #10: Update fees deducted from buy and sell orders to respectively 10% and 8%.
- The action to improve chosen on this week’s Sprint Retrospective call was:
- Get in contact with Tokenomics DAO and explore synergies between us and them.
- The Stewards WG Funding Proposal is live on the forum and is currently on the advice process phase.
- Commons Stack’s Commons Prize voting round 1 has started and will continue up until May 17th: vote for your finalists here!
- Forum Highlight:
Gravity
- Get ready for the 3rd Graviton! It will be starting on the 24th of May!
- We have uploaded the study plan. You will be able to register on this same post.
- There will be 10 sessions, held on Tuesdays 2:00 pm EST - 8:00 pm CET.
- On Wednesdays, we have our WG’s coordination call at 5 pm CEST.
- Our weekly book club is currently reading Margaret Wheatley’s Who Do We Choose To Be? We meet every Thursday at 3 PM EST / 9 PM CEST, right after the community call.
- Every Friday, at 17:00 CEST, we have a Psychology and Mental Health Research sync.
- If you’re in need of help managing a conflict, you can make a request through our typeform.
- Last Friday we held an AMA session at Aragon’s discord about conflict management.
Soft Gov
- Praise Practice: Type your praise. Transcription of praise hasn’t been as succesful as we’d wanted it to be so we recommend you all to start typing your praise. Let’s get better quantified, and rewarded!
- We have been reassessing our Mission Alignment.
- Boundaries: How can we better understand them and apply them to the organization?
- Our weekly sync is on Wednesdays at 1pm EST/ 7pm CET.
- Bends has done an amazing work collecting the data sources for our Ecosystem Health Metrics study.
- The Sampo WG has had its kicking off meeting! Its up and running!
Sampo
- During this week’s sync we prepared a 9 page document outlining Sampo’s strategy.

Forum Highlight:
- Meetings are Tuesdays at 22:00 CET on the Sampo VC within our Discord server.
Communitas
- We’ve reached 2,300 members on Discord!
- And we’ve personally welcomed more than 500 of them!
- This week we worked on a draft for our WG’s next funding proposal.
- We also continued to develop our TEC Engagement Process workflow.
- And we now have a new Orientation Deck presentation to showcase during our Orientation calls.

Forum Highlight:
- The TEC Lounge call is now at 16:00 CET on Fridays.

- This week we continued work on our Dynamic Energy Budget initiative, concerning how and where we are spending energy: here’s the exercise.
- We also did some behavioural modeling around observable variables such as on-chain behavior, sync meetings, async chat behavior: here’s what we compiled.
- We discussed the concept of collective curation and how can we use concepts of open source, decentralization, and smart contracts to enable for co-creation, meaningful novelty, growing connections and experimenting ways to design, build and fund emerging fields of energy. Here’s a document for you to read and comment on our findings.
Labs
- The Proposal Inverter DAO2DAO Models Workshop happens on Wednesdays 9:00 PST / 18:00 CEST. If you missed it, here’s a link to a presentation given in 0mega about the Proposal Inverter.
- TEC Token Engineering Fellowship: We are having talks about having someone with a technical background to work on the TEC token.

Legal
- We continued our work on our Commons’ Content Ownership Agreement, as well as the updating of our covenant: here’s the working document for it (and here’s the ZenHub issue about it).
- We’re considering offering legal services to other DAOs and charge the fee in $TEC: this could mean a transformation of our working group into a Legal Guild or into a schelling point for legal experts to coalesce around timely topics (i.e. Luna’s recent depegging and the legal ramifications of it).
