Spotlight: Mymeta & MetaLibrary

:satellite: Comms

  • Continuation of our Creative Onboarding campaign to welcome artists and integrate them into our workflow seamlessly by minimizing the Web3 learning curve
  • The new tentative name for our WG will be T.E.A.M. (Token Engineering Amplify Messengers)
  • Working on a framework for bounties and Comms-related project management
  • Forum Highlight: Social Fridays coming soon!

:houses: Communitas

  • This week we talked about the onboarding journey and how to make it more accessible for everyone. If you have any feedback on how we can improve, contact @eduardovegap on Discord
  • As such, Vyvy-vi is helping us develop an onboarding Bot to facilitate the introductory journey
  • Forum Highlight: Our Orientation Call is Wednesdays at 18:00 CET on the Community Hall VC; and our TEC Lounge is Fridays at 17:00 CET also on the Community Hall VC

  • The third session of our 2nd Graviton Training was hosted by Nate Suits and Anna Marie Swam
  • Our next Nonviolent Communication (NVC) bookclub will be lead by Ddan!

  • We’ve been focused on the current draft of terms and conditions for the ABC; we aim to finish it this sprint
  • Forum Highlight: Join us every other Friday at 16:00 CET for a chance to contribute and learn more about the ABC’s legal framework

  • As a relevant reminder, make sure to check our manifesto
  • This week we had an impromptu working session on dilemmas and practical intention/situation/decisionmaking faculties
  • Next week we will go over Amartya Sen’s Capability Approach as a framework to evaluate an individual’s well-being
  • Forum Highlight: Our WG sync calls will now be weekly: the next one will be this Wednesday Oct. 6th at 20:00 CET in the Omega VC

:robot: Params

  • Ongoing design validation of the Commons Configuration Dashboard (CCD)
  • Back end team got the CCD ready for our very first Params party, which happened last Friday (but, not to worry, more will come)

:raised_hands:t4: Soft Gov

  • Our Rewards System task force is still working on our Praise-giving infrastructure
  • Here is the outline to our Rewards System process; discussion around the rules surrounding Praise is ongoing
  • Nate is spearheading the Boardroom initiative, an interface for treasury & governance management that can serve as a one-stop-shop for vote tallying and decision-making
  • Forum Highlight: Our next Reward System call is Thursday Oct. 14th at 16:00 CET in the TEC Community Hall VC

:ear_of_rice: Stewards

  • As always, check out our TEC Timeline here
  • In our Stewards’ call this week we talked about the initial buy-in for our own TEC tokens
  • We also talked about a spam on our Snapshot, as well as solutions for that
  • Our Rewards System project is looking for an experienced front end developer that can take the lead role in building a React-based UI: send a Discord message to @kristofer if you know of anyone!
  • Forum Highlight: If you see something in the community that you’d like to address, or some work that needs to be done, open an issue on one of our ZenHub’s workspace boards here

:male_detective: Transparency

  • Ongoing discussion about updating our audit process and creating a transparency report for all WGs as opposed to doing them individually
  • The forum post we wrote last week for exploring our different Treasury Management options is still relevant so feel free to take a look
  • Forum Highlight: Our WG’s bi-weekly sync calls are on Mondays at 15:00 CET
